Link #251 - Weekend with BC

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

I write this on a sunny Friday morning which fills me with anticipation about what God is planning at Bloor Central for this weekend. This is one of those weeks where you might be tempted to say “O its just another normal weekend at Bloor Central”. However, one should always remember there is NOTHING NORMAL about a weekend at Bloor Central.

We have another exciting menu for our Community Meal on Saturday this week. It has been decide we’ll go with a Spanish dish this weekend with rice, sausage, shrimp and saffron (we also have a vegetarian option for those who don’t like seafood - but I love seafood). Its called Paella (which I’d never heard of but sounds delicious). Yet again our menu is getting more and more exotic. Everyone is welcome to join us for our meal that we serve from 4-6pm on Saturday.

On Sunday morning we are looking forward to share a message that fits in with the rest of your life. In fact we are billing it as "SETTING OUT ON A FULL AND AUNDANT WAY TO LIVE”. Sound like we’re over promising - I really don’t think so. Scripture gives us great guidance on how to live life in such a way that we find fulfillment, contentment, purpose, everything we might imagine is “abundant”. Hope you will join us Sunday at 10am as we gather to seek God together.

One last quick reminder is that it is Mothers Day this week.
