Greetings in the name of Jesus. We hope you are loving the summer.

This Saturday will be the last community meal for the summer (I guess that is the only downer about summer is our meal takes a few weeks off). We will be re-opening on September 6. So please take note

Bloor Central Community Meal is CLOSED August 16, 23, 30.

For our final meal of the summer (August 9) we plan a baked vegetarian pasta along with a salad featuring Italian dressing and bread. The desert will include a pineapple slice with an oatmeal cookie. We are serving from 4-6 pm so grab a friend and come see us.

On Sunday morning we are going to take a step back in time and watch a summer “re-run”. Its not really a summer re-run but it is a reflection on some foundational principles of Bloor Central. We’re reminding ourselves what it means to move from “Brokeness to Blessing” (and why that is so important).

We look forward to seeing you at Bloor Central this weekend.

TAKE NOTE:

Doug and Karen Hammond are going to be away for a few weeks as they go visit their son Matthew. That does not mean that Bloor Central slows down! In fact we have some great bible teachers visiting us over the next few weeks and we want to encourage you to take advantage of these times. Doug’s sister Beth (who has visited us before) will be here on August 17. On August 24 we are so pleased to have Brian Armstrong joining in. Brian has also been here before (actually twice in the last year) and he is an excellent bible student. Lastly we have a blast from the past on August 31 - Jeff Johnston returns (Jeff and his wife used to attend Bloor Central through the covid years and so this is a comeback).
