Link #307 - WHAT IS BORING?

Greetings in the name of Jesus. Happy Valentines Day!

Have you noticed life is moving fast? From Christmas to Super Bowl and now its Valentines Day already. It is hard to believe that life can seem boring but for many it is a curse. No matter what they do, no matter where they go their motivation for life is sucked dry as they get lost in boredom. The bible has a lot to say about boredom (although the word is not actually found in it). There are words like “restlessness” and “weariness” or “meaningless” that are used to describe what we know as “boring”. Don’t be a bore, and don’t you snore, come to Bloor Central to learn some more (my attempt at poetry). We are going to recognize a path out of boredom this Sunday. I hope you can join us at 10am.

Our menu for this Valentines Day is a starter of home made tomato soup, main dish of Mediterranean sausage pasta, and the desert this week is biscoffi tiramisu. The food looks great and the fellowship is always great. Join us tonight from 4-6 pm at our 7ate9 Community Dinner.

Note. We’ve had some problems with the heating unit at Bloor Central which will be fixed this week. However, on Sunday it might be a bit chilly. We will be improvising to offer some heat, but it might be a good idea to dress warm.
