Link #312 - Be Still

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

There has been a lot going on in the Bloor Central family so we will start off with trying to get you up to date.

  1. Steve and Grace are still in Mexico, but they are safe. We are grateful for all those who have been praying for them this week. The last we heard they will be flying home on Monday.

  2. Hazel Hosue is still in hospital. She goes by many names including “Hurricane Hazel”, or the “Hazel Nut” and she herself claims the name “Road Runner”. Whatever you call her we miss her at Bloor Central. She will be undergoing surgery on Monday. As always Hazel is very positive but we are praying for the operation on Monday to go well.

  3. Karen Hammond is recovering. Some of you know she fell down some stairs last week and has been sidelined with a bruised tailbone. She hopes to be back to Bloor Central this Sunday.

  4. This year our 24/7 prayer campaign will take place from April 19-26.

This week at SUNDAY WORD we will continue to explore this season of lent. Our focus this week will be on “Be still”. It is more difficult, and way more beautiful then you think.

The meal this week has a real exotic kind of flavor to it. The appitizer will be Moroccan carrot soup with a main course of Thai chicken coconut curry with veggies and green salad. Then our desert will be the Bloor Central signature banana bread. We serve from 4-6 pm so please join us and bring a friend.
