Link #328 - Special Prayer Request

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

I’m deeply saddened to bring you an update on a family that has been connected with Bloor Central for over 20 years. Those who have been here for a while will remember Patricio and Clement Kissoka who were originally from Congo. They have three children, two daughters Rayan and Eunice and a son Rodney who is 17. About 13 years ago Rodney went into hospital for what was considered a routine operation and things went horribly wrong. Rodney was left severely disabled and his life has been difficult. Approximately six weeks ago Rodney caught pneumonia and was admitted to hospital. Although the pneumonia cleared there have been numerous other complications that have arisen over the last month which resulted in Rodney being placed on life support. Today (Saturday) at 5pm family and a few friends will gather at the hospital as Rodney will be disconnected from the machines that are keeping him alive. The hospital is not certain about how long Rodney’s body will survive but the are certain he will pass away.

It is impossible for me to express the deep sorrow this family has gone through. At this time we are asking the Church to be praying that God will offer peace to the family. This will be a difficult day for all of them so we call Bloor Central be to holding up the entire family in prayer.
