Link #331 - WILDERNESS 2.0
Greetings in the name of Jesus.
Some exciting things to keep in mind for Bloor Central this weekend. First of all we’d want to remind you that this week we will be taking up our annual mission offering. This is a special offering dedicated to The Salvation Army ministry somewhere in the developing world. This year our offering will be used in Costa Rica. This is an important expression of our giving at Bloor Central and we encourage you to come prepared to participate on Sunday.
There are lots of other things going on as well. As per usual we kick off with our Community Meal (7ATE9) on Saturday evening from 4-6pm. The menu kicks off this week with lemon lentil soup and our main course is a Mexican beef burrito plate on rice with green salad. The desert will be chocolate yogurt and raspberries. The meal is always delicious and the fellowship even better! We hope you can join us for a meal.
On Sunday Karen will be continuing to explore wilderness training with “Wilderness 2.0”. We all have those times when we feel like God and his promises seem far away. The scripture prepares us for these seasons in our life so we don’t need to be afraid in the wilderness. Join us for SUNDAY WORD at 10am as we seek God together.
Hope to see you all at Bloor Central this weekend.
