Link 333 - Ascension Day

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

I just wanted to remind everyone that today is Ascension day - a very significant day on the Christian calendar. The actual events of the day are recorded in Acts 1:1-11; however, there are a number of other passages that explain the significance of the day. For example in Ephesians 1:17-23 we are reminded that now Jesus sits at the right hand of God interceding for us. That means that when we don’t know what to pray Jesus intercedes for us knowing exactly what our deepest needs are. Yes, this is a day to celebrate. Jesus is not in a grave, he is not on the cross, he is at the right hand of the Father interceding for you and me.
