Greetings in the name of Jesus.
Ok so we have another normal weekend at Bloor Central - but you must understand that there is nothing normal about a normal weekend at Bloor Central. This weekend is full of opportunity to enter into new life. Lets start with Saturday night.
Our Community Meal (7ATE9) is served from 4-6pm on Saturday evening and everyone is invited, and so are their friends. This week we start with our home made carrot soup which is a great way to start. Our main course is made up of chili (meat chili) on brown rice and coleslaw. Along with that we have home made corn bread! Desert will be a mandarin orange and a “treat”. Please feel free to join us! (Please note that the parking lot will not be available on Saturday evening - sorry for the inconvenience).
Every Sunday morning we gather to seek God together. Over the past several weeks we’ve been exploring questions we find from God in the scripture. This week we explore a question Jesus asked Mary Magdalene. “Why are you crying?” (John 20:15). Don’t underestimate the power of this question. It is a question that led Mary into a journey from tears to new opportunity. If we can apply this question to our life we too can get excited about the new opportunities God has for us. This is a powerful invitation from God to all of us so I hope you can join us. We will look forward to seeing you Sunday at 10am!
