Link #281 - Knowing Gods will.

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

This weekend at our Community Meal we will be joining in a food drive in memory of a good friend. Andrew Evagelou passed away two years ago. If you knew Andrew you know he had a deep love for the Lord, although he struggled with many issues around addiction. We are so grateful for his contribution to the ministry of Bloor Central and in his honor we will be collecting food items (eg. brown rice or pasta, cooking oil and spices, canned tuna and chicken, dried or canned beans, peanut or almond butter) or cash donations in support of our food bank. Even through his struggles Andrew demonstrated a deep compassion for those in need and building support for our foodbank is an appropriate way to honor his memory.

Also, the menu at the Community Meal will be Andrews favorite dish - pasta bolognaise. Along with the the main entre will mushroom barley soup, garden salad, garlic bread and berry cheesecake. Its gonna be good. We hope you can join us between 4-6pm.

On Sunday we gather at 10am to seek God here at 789 Dovercourt Rd. Over the past several weeks we’ve been exploring the prayer that Jesus taught his disciples. This prayer actually calls us to pray for Gods will to be done, but how can we know what Gods will is? We are grateful that we can gain some insight into Gods will for the world, or our Church and for our lives. Don’t get left out - you can understand what it really means to pray for Gods will to be done here on earth, like Gods will is done in heaven.

We hope we’ll see you at Bloor Central this weekend. Blessings to all.
