Link #303 - The sky is not falling!

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

Our world seems to be full of bad news which can be overwhelming. There are many who start to panic as they try to pay attention to what is happening in our world whether it is local, national or international, if it is health, politics, finance or business, it all seems to suggest we are not far from the world falling apart. The bible makes clear that we can trust God in these days and we don’t need to feel afraid. But how do we protect ourselves when it feels like we are surrounded by a bunch of “chicken littles” insisting that the sky is falling? We are going to look at what is necessary to keep us trusting God as we move through uncertain times. Join us Sunday morning at 10am. We are going to seek God together and the promise of God is that we will find him if we seek with all our hearts (Jeremiah 29:13)

Take a look at our menu for our Saturday Community Meal (7 ate 9). We start off with minestrone soup and the main course is Swedish meatballs on noodles and a spinach salad on the side. Our desert will be banana oatmeal bars with cranberry. Its pretty classy stuff. The only thing better then the food is the fellowship so we hope you will join us (and bring a friend). We serve from 4-6 pm this Saturday at 789 Dovercourt.
