Link #358 - HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Greetings in the name of Jesus.

Every week is Thanksgiving at Bloor Central, but on this weekend the whole country joins in with us. This year we are trying to highlight the festivities with a special thanksgiving meal on Saturday. Our Community Meal (7ATE9) is always good, but this week we are offering some extra TLC which will start off with vegetable barley soup. Our main course will be roasted herb chicken with stuffing, mashed potato and vegetable medley along with a fresh roll with butter. And the meal will close with PUMPKIN PIE AND WHIPPED CREAM. If you are having trouble being thankful this weekend just be reminded that God has given us pumpkin pie - a sure fire way to motivate thanksgiving. You are welcome to join us on Saturday from 4-6pm and feel free to bring a friend.

On Sunday we always kick off with thanksgiving and along with that this week we will be continuing to explore questions that God asks us. This week the question is from Jesus and he asks “What do you want?”. This is a very easy question to answer casually and that would be unfortunate because we can miss out on recognizing an opportunity for a deeper connection with God. Each of the questions we have been looking at offers us a transformational way to live, but this specific question offers a transformation in our contact with God. Please join us Sunday at 10am as we join together to seek God.
